Central to the privileges of membership in Christ's Church is satisfaction in pleasing the Lord by uniting publicly with the visible church and in giving expression to your faith. It is the sense that you are a vital part of this church in the fullest possible sense. As such, you'll be standing alongside all the other members of our church and actively working as part of the fellowship of God's people.

Members are entitled to the special oversight and care of the elders of the congregation. It is not only natural that they would give more attention to members, but it is also their special responsibility.
Members have the opportunity not only to learn more of the Bible, Christian doctrine and ethics on the Lord's Day, but to have it applied to their life through discipleship by the pastor and elders. Members are equipped to live balanced, righteous and godly lives, and engage diligently in private and family worship.
Christ has given every believer spiritual gifts. But these gifts must be properly exercised in commitment to the local body of Christ. Opportunities to serve other members of the body are given the proper context of functioning under the oversight of elders.
Members participate in active involvement in the work of home missions and worldwide outreach of the RCUS. Members, prayers, giving, and labor begin in the local congregation and then fan out across the United States and around the world.
Members are invited to share in the Lord's Supper and have the right to present their covenant children to God before the congregation in baptism.
Members have an opportunity to have input into the ministry and outreach of the congregation through voting at congregational meetings as set forth in the Constitution of Covenant Reformed Church. You may enter fully into the discussions, plans, and decisions of this church. Membership is also a prerequisite for serving as an officer of the church.
Accountability is strengthened by elders encouraging and correcting the members when they are not faithful to the Lord or are found delinquent in doctrine or practice. Members have the right to appeal any decisions made by the elders, or in matters of discipline that concern them.
